Laurel's Web

This colourful piece is a delight!  This piece measures 46" x 20".  Laurel's Web contains quite a few special features...The plates and coasters are vintage pieces, made decades ago and very difficult to find!  Their rich heritage has been captured in this timeless piece! 
 
The vintage plate in the centre of this panel is a L.G. Wright "Daisy and Button" plate, circa 1934.  The deep red coasters, also a daisy pattern, are circa 1960.  The vintage clear art glass, circa 1950, also with a daisy pattern, is no longer in production and extremely difficult to obtain.  These vintage coasters and plates once adorned the tables of the past, and are now captured in light for future generations to enjoy! This panel has also been enhaced by the use of 44 bevels...that cast beautiful rainbows into the room when illuminated.  
 
All the glass in this panel has been hand cut and created using both the lead came method as well as the copper foil method.  This piece may be hung on the diagonal or horizontal, as hooks have been attached for both.  Framed in a zinc channel and reinforced, this piecce has been built strong and will be a legacy for decades to come.  Signed and dated with a brass plaque.  Hanging hardware included.
